Public Education
Everyday we are faced with fundamental and seismic changes in the world, bombarded with information and misinformation circulating on every topic imaginable.
That is why JMP works so hard to set the record straight when it comes to science, government policy and agency actions related to forests, climate, biodiversity, fire, and logging. We provide information to the public, journalists, and Congress to increase knowledge, alter perspectives, and facilitate change.

Webinars
JMP, and JMP in combination with our partners, curate interactive discussions which tackle pressing topics related to forests, climate, biodiversity, wildfire, and logging to help bring a universal understanding to these issues and the work we do.

*Due to the US Forest Service's postponement of their SCIENCEx Fire Series, we have put our prediction and response series on hold indefinitely.*
Stopping the Spin: JMP Responds to SCIENCEx Fire Series
Starting January 2025, we will be taking a closer look at the government's spin on wildfire science with our predictions about what they will claim followed by a fact-checking response series of our own.
What to expect:
- Predictions & Fact-Checking: Our team will share insights, ask tough questions, and provide proven community-centered solutions for wildfire mitigation.
- Recorded Webinar Schedule: Tune in one day before each SCIENCEx webinar for our forecast, followed by our response video uploaded the Tuesday after the SCIENCEx event (or even earlier - turn on our YouTube notifications to find out!).
